New Software + Services Option for Microsoft Office Project Users

Sunnyvale, CA – September 16, 2009 – Project Hosts, a leading provider of hosted Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solutions, announced Project Migration Online (PMO), a new software plus services (S+S) offering that migrates Microsoft Office Project 2003 environments to 2007 and 2010 for a fixed price of $10,000. PMO includes consulting services to help prepare, document and test migration, and secure hosting on dedicated servers for 30 days. Customers can continue to utilize their new hosted, migrated environments long-term, or while they transition their on-premise systems.

Project Hosts has taken a new approach to an old problem and reduced the cost and complexity of migration by putting it online in collaboration with expert consulting partners. PMO overcomes IT backlogs as well as budgetary, infrastructure and staffing constraints.

Project Migration Online is designed to meet the needs of most Project 2003 deployments. It includes online tools to securely upload Project 2003 databases to a dedicated server in one of Project Hosts' secure, SAS-70 certified data centers, remote desktop access to Project Professional 2007, and EPM consulting to identify issues and create documentation detailing all the steps and changes required for each customer’s specific migration. It also includes rewrites of up to 20 Data Analysis views and up to 8 hours of Project 2007 administrator training.
