DoD IL5 Compliant Federal Private Cloud

Project Hosts’ DoD IL5 authorized Federal Private Cloud (FPC) DoD Network implements turnkey security and compliance on Microsoft Azure for DoD agencies. See announcement from DISA here. Our DoD IL5 announcement can be read here.

A full service PaaS

When an agency brings an application into the FPC PaaS, the application immediately inherits full compliance with 86% of all DoD IL5 controls. This compares to the 20% compliance an application would inherit if they deployed in their own Azure or AWS subscription.

Turnkey app Services above the PaaS

Onboarding an application to the Project Hosts Federal Private Cloud (FPC) DoD Environment.

At a high level there are 7 actions that must be performed in order to connect to the Project Hosts (FPC)DoD and be fully operational at impact level 5.

  2. Complete a DoD Cloud IT Project Initial Contact form
  3. Register your application in SNAP and wait for approval
  4. After approval for registration, complete all the required fields and provide necessary artifacts with Project Hosts assistance.
  5. Obtain a Cloud Permission to Connect from DISA
  6. DISA enables access to your application through the BCAP
  7. Perform Continuous Monitoring
