Scott Chapman, President, CEO and Co-Founder

Scott Chapman is the President/CEO and co-founder of Project Hosts. Scott defines the company’s vision and direction, sets strategy and drives overall business goals. In addition, he directs all sales, marketing, partner ecosystem and strategic relationships. Scott is a pioneer and market-maker in cloud-based Microsoft applications hosting. He founded two hosting companies, both of which were focused on enabling Microsoft partners to leverage the cloud. His first startup, founded in 1999 was acquired by a public company. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale and a PhD in Physics from UC Berkeley. James Flavin, CFO and Co-Founder

James Flavin is the CFO and co-founder of Project Hosts. James sets the company’s technology vision and defines and drives its Custom Cloud Architecture™ (CCA) and Data Center Design Reference Platform (dcDRP). These core elements provide the foundation for the company’s unique offering – Microsoft PPM, SharePoint, and CRM Custom Cloud solutions. James is the principal architect of the Custom Cloud solution, and one of the world’s most technically advanced and successful Microsoft hosting operations. James has over 20 years of experience in the computer industry with an emphasis on platform delivery for application software and holds various Microsoft certifications including MCSE and MCDBA.

 

David Lewis, CTO

David Lewis is the CTO of Project Hosts.  David sets and oversees the fast-paced evolution of Project Hosts’ technology landscape which must support workloads that require HITRUST, FedRAMP, and/or DoD Unclassified/Classified compliance at record times. Bringing the team over eight years of Cloud Architecture and Application Integration experience, he ensures the company’s technology adoption grows ahead of new markets and opportunities. David holds a BS degree in Applied Physics with Highest Honors from Grove City College.

Levi Aylsworth, COO

Levi Aylsworth, an eleven-year Air Force Veteran, directs all aspects of business operations for the company including service performance, process management, support, and partner/customer satisfaction. Throughout his 16-year career in the IT industry Levi has led teams spanning multiple countries with their unique missions. Now a member of the Project Hosts team he continues to focus on improving performance excellence and helping teams achieve record results.

Joshua Krueger, CISO

Joshua Krueger joined the United States Army after high school. He spent 6 years in the Army serving in Korea, Afghanistan and most recently Fort Drum, New York as an Air Defense Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) Operations Center Enhanced Operator/ Maintainer. Following his time in the service he obtained an Associates Degree in Network Administration and Security, subsequently followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security. Josh Krueger has been working for Project Hosts since 2016 and has taken on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) after holding the Information System Security Officer role for several years. Joshua also acts as the Chief Privacy Officer and is the organization’s Facility Security Officer. In filling these roles, it is his responsibility to compliance across the organization for the many industry frameworks Project Hosts adheres to including FedRAMP, DoD IL4/ Il5, HITRUST, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, CMMC, GDPR, NISPOM.

In 2024 Josh was appointment to Federal Secure Cloud Advisory Committee.  Josh holds the following industry certifications:  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cloud Computing Security Professional (CCSP), Certified in Cyber Security (CC), SC-200 Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, DISA HBSS Admin 201/301

Raymond de Avila, VP of Sales | Business Development | Marketing

Raymond is responsible for leading sales, marketing, partner relationships and revenue growth. Ray has a proven track record accelerating business results to drive revenue while enhancing customer relationships.  With a strategic focus on driving expansion, he has centered his teams on delivering an elite buying experience – centered on solving the big problems the customers are working to solve.  Ray earned his degree from San Diego State University and completed Executive Education Programs in Persuasion and Negotiation at Harvard University. Ray is certified in dozens of learning programs centered on leadership, sales and building high performing teams. He has led the development of leadership practices and sales operating rhythm at dozens of technology companies around the world.
