Project Hosts, Inc. is excited to offer the Cloud Service Engineer Apprentice Program for students attending 2-year and 4-year colleges in the western PA region.
This program offers the candidate FULLY PAID Microsoft training, testing and certifications AND a chance at full-time employment after the 90 day program has concluded. Our goal with this program is to enable the company to meet its staffing demands for custom cloud-based Microsoft solutions, Azure based application hosting and security compliant cloud solutions by training students in the western PA region.
Project Hosts was founded in Silicon Valley in 2003 and shortly thereafter opened a technical operations center in Conneautville, PA. Having roots in Silicon Valley enables us to keep pace with the fast-moving cloud industry, while creating new jobs and highly trained cloud engineers in Pennsylvania. We are proud to offer this program, and enable students in western PA careers in advanced cloud hosting, management and security.

Each candidate is required to pass a series of aptitude, cognitive ability, basic IT skills and other tests prior to acceptance into the program.
The Training and Evaluation Period
Project Hosts, Inc. provides advanced cloud services to our customers that include fortune 500 clients and U.S. Federal and State agencies. Our managed cloud services is highly technical in nature. Successful delivery of these services requires our Cloud Service Engineers to be trained in a number of advanced Microsoft technologies and also in the Project Hosts infrastructure and practices.
Once accepted into the Apprentice Program you will receive an outline of the Microsoft curriculum that Project Hosts, Inc. would like you to follow. The first part of the program is a 90 training and evaluation period that is dedicated to this curriculum. During the 90 days you will be compensated and provided a mentor from Project Hosts to help answer your questions and guide you in your training. Project Hosts, Inc. provides a work space and all of the necessary tools and equipment for your training!
Project Hosts would like to see you work through the curriculum and successfully pass the certification tests.
Also during the 90 days you will be evaluated weekly by your supervisor/mentor for your competency of the material you are studying, professionalism and initiative.
The Decision Point
A review will be conducted at the 90 day point; this review will encompass all of your training, certifications earned and weekly reviews. This final review of the program will determine whether you will be brought on as a full-time employee with Project Hosts.
